Turks and Caicos

The Turks and Caicos consist of 40 different islands and cays, only 8 of which are inhabited. Wanderlust recently ventured to Providenciales, the most well-known of the islands and the center of tourism with a wide range of hotels, restaurants and attractions.

Flying to the Providenciales airport (PLS) is easily accessible from many Southeast U.S. cities. Miami alone offers two flights a day that can get you on the island is less than 2 hours, making this destination one to keep in mind for short 3-4 night getaways.

The absence of a cruise port on Providenciales, a lack of land-based tours and the island’s low-key nightlife maintain its exclusivity.  You will find a range of resorts and some of the best beaches in the world.  Crystal clear water that has breathtaking hues invites guests to enjoy some of the best snorkeling, diving, fishing and beach strolling in the Caribbean.

Whether you are a couple looking for R&R, a family hoping to enjoy some quality time together, or a multigenerational group, we can match you with the perfect property to fit your travel tastes and needs.

Here is a sneak peak at a few of the properties I recently visited:

The Shore Club

The Shore Club on Long Bay Beach is the perfect place if you love a luxurious setting and lots of peace and quiet.  If you need a little action, Grace Bay Beach is just a 10-minute shuttle ride away. Ask me about the Beach to Beach package with The Palms, and I would love to talk to you about The Shore Club’s stunning private 6-bedroom villas right on the beach.

The Palms

This 72-suite getaway exudes a relaxed Caribbean rhythm while providing high-end amenities to fit your lifestyle.  The resort offers tennis courts, a serpentine infinity pool and access to most every watersport and a 25,000 sq. ft spa that offers treatments inspired by both Eastern and Western rituals to revitalize body and mind. The prime location on Grace Bay, friendly staff and laid-back luxe vibe makes this resort have one of the highest repeat guest ratios on the island.

Grace Bay Club

The world-renowned Grace Bay Club has extensive beachfront access and all oceanfront suites in three separate sections, offering couples a romantic retreat (The Hotel), an area tailor-made for families (The Villas) and an ultra-luxury resort-within-a-resort (The Estate). The Private Villa Collection--including The Residences--offers all the amenities of the luxurious Grace Bay Club in the comfort of a private beachfront home.

Beaches Turks & Caicos

This is the largest family-friendly, all-inclusive resort on the island (and the entire Caribbean). If your family likes a range of dining options, pools, a waterpark, ocean activities (inclusive of diving), and childcare available 9am-9pm (even for babies and toddlers), this is the spot for you.

Along with pre-travel preparations, restaurant recommendations and even airport tips Wanderlust Travel will arrange everything to ensure a fun and relaxing getaway to the beautiful islands of Turks & Caicos.
